Exhibit Hall and Arena Designs

Below are the current designs for converting the indoor arena into an exhibit hall and covering the existing outdoor arena.

If you have any comments to share regarding the designs please send them to the Director via email to Lynne.McKee@co.benton.or.us (deadline for email submissions December 20)

Designs will also be reviewed and discussed during the December 20th Fair Board meeting being held in the Auditorium at 6:00 pm (virtual option available)

Benton County Fair Preferred Master Plan Layout

The Benton County Event Center & Fairgrounds has completed an update of the facilities master plan. The Benton County Fairgrounds has been an important gathering place and location for public events in the County for more than 100 years. The buildings, utilities and grounds at the fairgrounds have suffered from years of deferred maintenance. The updated master plan will help the County achieve the Fairgrounds' mission to operate a community events center that serves residents and visitors.

The master plan includes a facilities plan that identifies new construction and needed improvements to existing buildings, and a comprehensive business plan that explores management options and provides an operational and maintenance budget, plus potential funding mechanisms.

Markin Consulting led the economic analysis and public engagement portions of the master plan update which was approved by the Benton County Board of Commissioners.
